1. About Discreet Liaisons

Discreet Liaisons (“the Platform”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a private, adult dating and social connection service operated in the United Kingdom at discreetliaisons.co.uk. The Platform facilitates communication between registered adult members and is operated by an independent UK operator.

By creating an account or using any part of the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions in full. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. Age Requirement — Adults Only

You must be 18 years of age or older to register or use Discreet Liaisons. By creating an account you expressly declare and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years old;
  • You are accessing the Platform as an adult for personal, lawful purposes;
  • All information you provide during registration, including your date of birth, is accurate and truthful.

If we have reasonable grounds to believe you are under 18, we will immediately suspend or terminate your account without notice and without refund. Providing false information about your age is a breach of these Terms and may constitute a criminal offence.

3. Registration and Account

To access the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration;
  • Keep your account credentials secure and confidential;
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use of your account;
  • Not create multiple accounts or accounts on behalf of other people;
  • Not transfer your account to any other person.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to keep your credentials secure.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You must not use the Platform for any purpose that is unlawful, harmful, or prohibited by these Terms. In particular, you must not:

4.1 Illegal Content and Criminal Offences

  • Upload, share, or transmit any content that constitutes or depicts child sexual abuse material (CSAM), child sexual exploitation, or any content involving minors in a sexual context. This is a criminal offence under the Sexual Offences Act 2003 and the Protection of Children Act 1978 and will be reported to the National Crime Agency (NCA) and the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) immediately;
  • Use the Platform to groom, exploit, coerce, or traffic any person;
  • Engage in or facilitate human trafficking or modern slavery;
  • Upload or share any content that promotes or incites terrorism, racial hatred, or violence;
  • Upload any content that is obscene within the meaning of the Obscene Publications Act 1959.

4.2 Fraud and Deception

  • Impersonate any person, whether real or fictitious, or misrepresent your identity or affiliations;
  • Use the Platform to conduct romance fraud, advance-fee fraud, or any form of financial deception;
  • Solicit money, gifts, financial information, or access to financial accounts from other members;
  • Send phishing links or any content designed to capture another person’s personal or financial information.

4.3 Harassment, Abuse, and Harmful Behaviour

  • Harass, stalk, threaten, or intimidate any other member;
  • Send unsolicited sexual messages or images to another member who has not consented;
  • Share intimate images of another person without their explicit consent (a criminal offence under the Criminal Justice Act 2015 and the Online Safety Act 2023);
  • Engage in hate speech targeting members on the basis of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic;
  • Attempt to extract the personal or contact information of other members against their wishes.

4.4 Platform Integrity

  • Post nudity, pornographic images, or sexually explicit material in any profile section or message visible to other members;
  • Upload photos depicting any person other than yourself without their consent;
  • Operate a bot, scraper, or automated account;
  • Advertise or promote commercial services, escort services, or paid sexual services;
  • Circumvent any access controls, moderation systems, or safety features on the Platform;
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or interfere with the Platform’s technical infrastructure.

5. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of any content you upload to the Platform. By uploading content, you grant Discreet Liaisons a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

You are solely responsible for all content you upload or transmit. We do not pre-screen all messages between members, but we do review profile photographs before they are displayed and act on reported content promptly in accordance with our Content Moderation Procedure.

Nudity prohibition: Profile photographs and any images shared on the Platform must not include nudity, sexually explicit acts, or graphic violence. Images are reviewed by our moderation team before being made visible to other members. Images that violate this rule will be removed without notice.

6. Reporting Illegal or Harmful Content

If you encounter content or behaviour on the Platform that you believe is illegal, harmful, or in breach of these Terms, you must use the in-platform reporting feature (available on all member profiles) or contact us at safety@discreetliaisons.co.uk.

We take all reports seriously. Reports will be reviewed within 72 hours of receipt, and urgent matters (including anything involving child safety) will be escalated immediately. We may be required by law to pass certain reports to the National Crime Agency, the Internet Watch Foundation, or other authorities.

You must not make false or malicious reports. Doing so is a breach of these Terms and may result in suspension of your account.

7. Photo Moderation

All photographs submitted to Discreet Liaisons are reviewed by a human moderator before they are made visible to other members. We will not approve and will permanently remove any photograph that:

  • Contains nudity or sexually explicit content;
  • Depicts a person other than the account holder without their consent;
  • Contains illegal content of any kind;
  • Is of poor quality, misleading, or misrepresentative.

Approved photographs are stored securely using encrypted cloud storage. Temporary signed URLs are used to serve images, ensuring they are not directly accessible via public links.

8. Subscription and Payment

Access to certain features of the Platform requires a paid subscription. Female-identifying members receive free full access. Male-identifying members require an active subscription to send messages. Key payment terms:

  • Subscriptions are billed in advance for the selected period;
  • Payments are processed securely. Your bank or card statement will show a discreet, non-identifying payment descriptor;
  • Subscriptions do not automatically renew unless you have elected this option at the point of purchase;
  • Refunds are at our discretion and are not automatically available if you have used the paid features of your subscription;
  • We reserve the right to change pricing at any time with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.

9. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have:

  • Violated these Terms & Conditions;
  • Engaged in illegal or harmful behaviour on or through the Platform;
  • Provided false information during registration;
  • Acted in a manner harmful to other members or to the integrity of the Platform.

If your account is terminated for a serious breach (including illegal content), you may be permanently banned from re-registering. Refunds will not be issued in cases of termination for breach.

You may close your own account at any time from your account settings. On closure, your profile will be removed from public view. We will retain records as required by law and our legitimate interests (including to investigate any outstanding reports).

10. Online Safety Act 2023

Discreet Liaisons is a user-to-user service regulated under the Online Safety Act 2023 (“OSA”). We have completed the required illegal content risk assessment and children’s access assessment under the OSA and maintain a content moderation and complaints procedure in accordance with Ofcom’s guidance.

Our Online Safety Statement is available publicly and explains our approach to online safety, who to contact with safety concerns, and how we comply with the OSA.

11. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property in the Platform — including its design, code, branding, and non-user-generated content — is owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by UK law:

  • We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful elements;
  • We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or legality of any content posted by users;
  • We are not liable for any meetings, transactions, or interactions that take place between members outside of the Platform;
  • Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Platform is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

13. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in law, regulation, or the Platform. We will notify existing members of material changes by email. Continued use of the Platform after such notification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
